A pesquisa pretende investigar a obra de alguns autores que pensaram a questão da comunidade ética na sociedade contemporânea, a saber, Alasdair MacIntyre, Charles Taylor, Henrique C. de Lima Vaz e Michael Sandel. Nestes autores investigar os três conceitos do título, comunidade ética, cultura e sociedade, e suas relações com uma ética pertinente à sociedade contemporânea multicultural e globalizada.
